Small Residential and Telecommunication Towers; 2-4 kW

Be-Wind Turbines

Designed and manufactured within the aerospace industry, Be-Wind's state of the art vertical axis turbines produce 15-20% more power efficiently than any other turbine, while generating usable power starting at wind speeds of 5-7 mph.

Businesses such as cellular, as an example, require a green energy solution that would include a small turbine in combination with solar and battery storage. With the locations of the cell towers ranging from isolated areas that are off Grid and require diesel generated power, to roof mounted installations, they have determined that the VAWT represents a viable technology in conjunction with solar and battery storage to provide the Green solution desired. It will provide back-up that they currently lack and remove their reliance on diesel power generation.

Aesthetically Pleasing Model

 The Aeroleaf®
Light and almost always moving, the Aeroleaf developed by New World Wind, is animated by wind from any direction. It optimizes the use of dispersed energy. The Aeroleaf’s rotation doesn’t create any noise thanks to its direct drive mechanism that functions without belts or gears. The Aeroleaf is notably adapted to exploit even the slightest of breezes and turbulent winds.

Aaski VAWT Technology

Aaski’s VAWT is extremely durable and long-lasting as it has only one moving part – a sturdy long life bearing. There is no drive shaft or gear box, no brushes, bushings or slip rings. Our patented design requires very little maintenance and enables the wind blade configuration to capture the maximum horse power from all wind directions (360 degrees). The Aaski VAWT is able to operate in extreme climatic conditions as low as -49 F / -45 C and in wind conditions of up to 90 mph / 145 km/h.

ADVANTAGES

· Low rotation - maximum tip speed is 120 RPM which is about 35 miles per hour.

· Self-starts at low wind speed– The turbine self-starts at wind speeds as low as 1.2 meters per

second or about 2 miles per hour. Many wind turbines require wind speeds of at least 4 meters per second before starting.

· Quiet

· Bird friendly

· Low Maintenance – most turbines require semi-annual maintenance. The 2.5 kW VAWT design eliminates most moving parts resulting in minimum maintenance.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES:

· Environmentally friendly and economically feasible

· North American built

· Durability tested in  harsh winters and hot summers, from -45 C to +40 C

· wind tunnel tested for durability and output

KEY BENEFIT OF THE PRODUCTS - VALUE

It has been clearly identified by The US National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) that the path to success in small and medium sized wind energy solutions is value. The Aaski turbine has been designed from day one to provide this value. Our goal is to provide a green energy solution that competes in price with grid energy.

THE PRODUCTS

The engineering that we have assembled provides the methodology we use for engineering different wind turbine sizes. We currently have available a 5 kW turbine with a 15 year history of reliability. Based on this design we identified three key market niches for our product and subsequently designed 2.5 kW, 100-360 kW and 5 -15 kW models.

Our Products

5, 10 &15 kW  Vertical Axis Wind Turbines - for rural homes, schools and farms.

These turbines generate enough electricity to quietly power a home, school or small farm on a 24/7 basis - without the use of conventional energy from the grid. The game changing element of this turbine is its technology integration design that allows Aaski to market it at a price that is substantially lower than the cost of any comparable wind turbine (any turbine - vertical or horizontal that can generate similar output).

100-360 kW  Vertical Axis Wind Turbine - for remote communities, farms, etc.

This is a larger version of the 15 kW turbine, supplemented with features that provide cost benefits in a larger setting such as a farm, industry or community. We are NOT building large wind farms. Our clients are “Small or Mid-Size” in their demand, and in locations where wind power can be a key energy generator.
